the penalties for each offence committed (too light or too harsh or reasonable)
how the traffic police deal with traffic offences (both minor ones like speeding, running red lights, defects to more serious ones like no license/insurance, driving whilst banned, drink driving, dangerous driving, causing death by drink/dangerous etc driving and so on?
What would you wanna change or change yourself if you were the law?What's your opinons the law of the road and the traffic cops?
There are hundreds of traffic laws and penalties etc.
It would take a book to go through them all and give opinions.
Briefly, in some cases laws and punishments are appropriate and in some they are not.
Trafpol are the same, some are ok some are not.
Loads of things I would like to see changed - again, too much to list on here with reasons.What's your opinons the law of the road and the traffic cops?

I Tell you what im really sick of and i mean really sick and tired of is Seeing Nob heads on there mobile phones while drinking like to day i saw some jerk pulled out on his mobile phone
I think if you was you mobile Phone whilst Driving it sholud be 6 months ban its just as dangerous if not more dangerous as Drink driving
When i see jerks on there mobile phones i sound my horn and give them the Bird AKA the Middle Finger and then they look at me like what i did i think to myself ur on ur phone u thick prick i sholud knock you out
its makes me so angry
+1 on the idiots who are on the phone while driving. the geniuses who pull out on me when im on the bike, it is called a mirror! oh and the twits who sit in the middle lane. i could go on forever ; )
and i hate the discrimination against bikers, apparently if you speed on a bike you go to jail for six months, but if you kill someone while driving a car you go to jail for three months!
serious offences should have heavier consequences like dui's, and driving with no insurance; and publicly flog them XD
I think speed traps should be banned. I think pleading to a lessor charge is ridiculous.
I find it interesting that you believe speeding and running red lights is a minor violation. I don't know which contributes to more highway deaths - speeding or alcohol.
All in all. however, when I see the way some drivers drive - I can't imagine not having rules and regulations and not having them enforced.
No one wants to get a ticket - but in hindsight, the ones I've received over the years were pretty much deserved.
too much emphasis on speed and speed cameras - what is needed is more traffic cops on the road . very bad drivers get away with it every day, for instance i have just followed a driver for about 3 miles ( built up area roundabouts etc ) driving one handed using her mobile . and why ? hardly any enforcement . and they know it .
cops always rushing back for tea breaks with flashing lights
