How much would you be willing to change yourself for a significant other?

My best friend has been seeing this guy for about 4 months, off and on. First they dated for about 2 months, then they broke up for a couple months, now they got back together about 2 months ago. Ever since they got back together she's been changing herself DRASTICALLY. Here's a list of some of the things she's changed.



1) Her hair color. She used to be a blonde and said it was part of her identity and she would never change it. Right after she got back together w/ her BF, she died her hair dark brown (he's into brunettes. although she claims that not why she did it).



2) Her sense of style. She was going to fashion school and was a total fashionista; now, since she's gotten back together with him she wears nothing but jeans, t shirts, and flip-flops, never wears makeup, never does her hair, and just TRIES really hard to be low maintenance.



3) She's taken an interest in tattoos, which is something she was always a little into, but now that she's w/ him, she's obsesses with them.



4) Her opinions are changing to match his.



5) She quit drinking, even socially.



6) She started listening to heavy metal music, which is what he likes (her fav band used to the Pussycat Dolls!)



7) And most of all...she's moving 2,000 miles from home for him! She begged him and begged him to move out here, but he wouldn't budge, so she's moving out there even though he really has nothing out there that he would be leaving behind and she's dropping out of school, quitting her job, and leaving all her family and friends to go be with him.



All her friends and fam think she's nuts. So, would any of you ever drastically change yourself like that for a significant other?How much would you be willing to change yourself for a significant other?
that is crazy. you should never change yourself that mcuh. if he dosnt like who you are and everything about you he dosnt love you teh way you think he does. you need to really talk to your friend. she will lose everything over some guy who dosnt even seem that mcuh of a boyfriend!
