I really want to change, because I am very paranoid and constantly think about negative things... I HATE IT!!! I just feel like I cant stop it. What steps do you take to change yourself when that person is who you are? Change IS NEEDED... I am not the happy person I used to be, and I would give anything to get back to who I used to be. i feel much like you, and i can think of is someday i will die, whether i changed or not eventually same end. life is short , ts just not worth, whoever is making me feel bad abt myself are just jerks who just have maybe a better luck, eventually they'll lose it all and die. i hate myself, try to change, very SELF CRITICIZING yes its the main issue , jus can help it, sometimes i think im going hard on myslf and ruining the positive qualities i have. wht im thinkin now is ';wht does my beaty do to me (nothing but making other girls jealous and always stabbing me n the back, and making it hard for the male species to deal with me as a regular person), what did my smart analytical brain do to me( only high grades in math in physics, and in life , it just cozed me headaches'; i even took positive traits and transformed them into curses. wht im saying is YOU dont need to change, ur probably perfect as u are, but the way u perceive things probablyand sometimes **** happens to u. yea u need to luv urself and wht u already have n uHow do you change who you are when you hate yourself but that person is YOU?
i've been there, i used to be so negative, everything wood constanly spiral down wards. but i did sumtin tht changed me. i got off my high horse and decided that no. im not going to be like this for the rest of my life. i am a natural born worrier and always put others before me. truthfully there are proper stages to go through to make urself a more positive thinker unless u want to spend a bucket load of money to see a help group or buy a cheesey DVD. everyone is different you have to figure out what makes you think the way you do and resolve it. one step you cood take wood be that every day you should try and say at least 5 positive things to different people. you are sure to get positive responses then after this you may realise there isnt such a need to be so negative about the world. best wishes x
Whoa. Okay. Just try giving yourself a reward (like a jelly bean) every time you want to think something negative, but instead take the positive route. Also ask your friends to keep you in check and let you know when the paranoia sets in.

next time whenever u feel paranoid or angry think about what u wrote here..think about ur hatred towards urself..u will defenitly feel compelled to change..also pray to god the
one think which will make u calm and positive is prayer coz it has great healing powers it has defenitly worked for me try that..
u need to think about the positives of life- its hard ive been a negitive thinker also~ but i just say to myself theres someone else out there whos life is ten times worse then mine someone out there bf is cheating on them someone else out there is terminally ill etc. so looking at all that stuff i see my life really is not that bad. and im thankful for that... good luck!

You need to do lots of self-affirmations. Every time you have a negative thought, like '; I hate these shoes!'; replace it with, ';I'm thankful I have shoes.'; When you look in the mirror in the morning, tell your reflection you are a beautiful, happy person, and today will be wonderful. It takes time, but it does work. Also, pray. That helps more than anything. God can give you peace when nothing else can. Good luck, you deserve it!
