Should you change yourself if your family says so?

I think my family has a negative perception of me but to be honest I do not see how I am doing anything wrong. I probably am though. But my family never changes their flaws because I tell them to.

My old sister is still a b***ch and so is my mother

My father is still very controlling

My little sister still enjoys making fun of me even though she knows it hurts my feelings

Why do I have to change my bad attitude because they tell me to?Should you change yourself if your family says so?

EH I MAKE NO SENCE
Your parents are just trying to make sure that you are prepared for life. There are very few situations that won't require you to change your attitude, even if it is only slightly. Having the ability to adapt your attitude to a situation will be very useful. Hopefully you can master it.
It takes a long time for a lot of people to get this -

Having a bad attitude is not going to change anything.

If your father is so controlling, and things so out of control, he needs to make his wife like her older daughter less and you more.

Your little sister is just doing whatever she can get away with because she feels exactly like you do about her own situation.

You don't have to change your bad attitude, you just have to understand they are telling you that keeping it is not going to change anything.

Talk to your father about how he can make your life perfect. He will probably enjoy the attention.
